AB  - NEWMAN Electric Motors, the Bristol‐based manufacturer of industrial AC induction motors up to 300 kW, is stepping up its campaign among motor users whose equipment is destined for harsh environments. Following the launch of its Hi‐Seal range — designed as a high‐reliability enclosure for wet, dusty, corrosive or otherwise harmful conditions — the company is carrying out a survey on the way motors for such conditions are specified and the incidence of breakdowns caused by the working environment.
