Abstract

More than enough money to meet too few inventions: That is the irony facing the Government‐backed NRDC — which lists the Hovercraft among its notable development successes — and other organisations set up to finance bright ideas. Matthew Collins explains the purpose of NRDC and its efforts to revive Britain's reputation as a nation of industrial innovators.
