Abstract

Overtime which becomes an established part of the working week is masking one solution to relieving unemployment, says Stanley Alderson, author and consultant on business affairs. Here, he outlines some of the benefits — not only to the jobless, but also to those already in work and employers — of a statutory limit on working hours.
