Management takes on a ‘Sir’ role

Abstract

Concerted efforts are now being made to present school pupils with a more enlightened view of industry's place in Society. And it's the managers themselves who are stepping into the classrooms and inviting youngsters into the factories in an attempt to dispel anti‐industry prejudices. Report by David Harvey.
