Abstract

BOTH SIDES of industry are agreed that higher productivity is the only viable formula for higher wages and for essential profits and dividends for economic survival. A productivity agreement, therefore, seems a very enticing prospect. But before you leap in, there are many factors to consider, as indicated in a British Institute of Management checklist on the topic.
