Talented quick and bankrupt dead

Abstract

MANAGEMENT CANNOT HAVE COME through one of the toughest periods in British industrial history without becoming much sharper and more professional. Those companies which have gone bankrupt, knocked over by inflation, were not necessarily badly managed. They were simply not fast enough in ducking out of the way.
