Name‐Authority Control Using dBASE III Plus

Abstract

We have developed several applications at the University of Texas at San Antonio using the database management software package dBASE III Plus. These applications range from periodical budgeting to controlling gifts and exchange items. Our latest application uses downloaded name authority records in standard translation with SaveScreen on the M300 Workstation as a means for maintaining our name authority control.
