Supercomputers: Enhance strategic decision‐making: An interview with Richard J. Pryor

Abstract

Approaching a broad spectrum of problems also helps us to attract the best talent and develop our computers to be most useful for both governmental and commercial purposes. And, of course, we cannot overlook the strategic advantage of having the best economic models available for national security purposes. Economic models can help us to better determine military capability of potential adversaries, whether nations or major terrorist groups, and to accurately determine the effect of counter measures such as trade sanctions.
