Abstract
Companies are now looking for more productivity at a faster pace from their research and development organizations. Nowadays, the time it takes to get an innovation to market has become a critical index of global competition. Even companies with world‐renowned R&D capability and significant past successes are striving to enhance their R&D performance and competitive position.
