Editorial

Abstract

Planning Review reported recently that 90% of American companies have failed in implementing effective corporate strategies. The causes of failure are no doubt manifold, but it is clear that more failures result from an ineffective planning system, or the lack of acceptance of a planning system, rather than from faulty application of good planning principles.
