TY - JOUR AB - Pay satisfaction is of vital concern to the individual employee, the individual employer, and, in turn, the entire economic structure. Although much research has been performed in the field of job satisfaction, very little research has been conducted in the field of pay satisfaction. The work that has been done indicates that, as we would expect, pay dissatisfaction leads to poor job performance, strikes, grievances, high turnover rates, job dissatisfaction, and mental disorders.
