Abstract

SOME years ago a clever young man wrote a charming and instructive little satire with the intriguing title, “How to Build a Bassoon Factory”. Therein was described structure and organisation, finance (shares pref. and ord.), the managerial and directorial functions, accounting and filing, time and motion study—in fact, the lot.
