EMULSIONS AND STRAIGHT CUTTING FLUIDS

Abstract

ALTHOUGH in general the use of an emulsion or a straight cutting oil will be conditioned by either the material to be machined, the particular tool, or the requirement of the operation itself, it would yet be correct to say that, broadly speaking, these two physically very different fluids will do the same work.
