First principles: No. 19. Measuring Consistency of Greases
12
Abstract
PREVIOUS articles in this series have dealt with the uses, properties, and grades of greases. The laboratory testing of greases will now be covered. Testing of greases has not advanced to the same degree as oil testing, chiefly because of the variations in ingredients employed which make it difficult to standardize tests that will give repeatable results. Consistency.
