AN interesting method of recording and measuring the degree of metallic wheel loading, during grinding operations, and some of the results obtained, were given in a paper presented before the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in September last, by L. H. Sudholz, S. Manilych, and G. S. Mapes, all of the Technical Service Department, Socony‐Vacuum Laboratories, Brooklyn. The following is a shortened version of their paper.
