AB  - The most widely used oils in this country today are SAE 20 and SAE 30 grades, and SAE 10 oils are used in very cold climates. The disadvantages of using very viscous oils have been emphasised by tests carried out in the Socony‐Vacuum Laboratories and described by Messrs. J. W. Lane and D. S. Chatfield at a meeting of the Society of Automobile Engineers in the U.S.A.
