Abstract

The Edinburgh Engineering Virtual Library (EEVL) is a project, funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC), to develop a gateway to Internet resources in engineering as part of the Electronic Libraries Programme. This paper describes the background to the project and outlines the approach that has been taken to developing the service.
