European information needs of the voluntary sector

Abstract

Voluntary organisations in the UK have many of the same information needs regarding Europe as the statutory and private sectors. Every part of the economy needs accurate, up‐to‐date information on what the European institutions are doing, or, preferably, planning to do. In addition, a thorough knowledge of the legal and political structures through which they operate is required to influence them effectively.
