Abstract

A questionnaire was sent to medical and nursing librarians in 5 Regional Health Authorities. There were 97 replies. The questionnaire asked about which selection aids the librarians rated as being important and which were seldom used. Librarians were asked for their opinions about the content and format of publishers' catalogues. The catalogues were examined to see whether respondents' criticisms were justified.
