Abstract

The Local Government Training Board is an organisation set up by, and for, local authorities to promote and advise on training in local government throughout England and Wales. One of our major roles is to act as an information exchange about training and management in local government. We encourage local authorities to share experiences and information. As part of this, we are therefore very interested in better access to local authority documents. This paper discusses the recent activities of the SCOOP Working Party on local authority documents and also tells you something about the new directory it has produced.
