Abstract

A wide range of print and non‐print materials is associated with user education. The Library Instruction Materials Bank which has been set up at Loughborough, as part of the work of the British Library Information Officer for User Education, is an attempt to gather these materials and make them accessible to libraries and information services throughout the United Kingdom. It includes materials from all sectors of the library system, including university, polytechnic, college, school, public, national and special libraries.
