TECHNICAL TRANSLATION: CO‐OPERATIVE ACTION: Aslib Conference, London , 15th January 1960
Abstract
The director, opening the conference, said that it had been called because the time seemed ripe for a discussion of problems of co‐operation recording and availability of translations. The special purpose of this nference was to consider ways in which greater co‐operation could be hieved, which would lead to greater efficiency and help to eliminate waste of sources on duplicated and inadequate translations. It was hoped that the nference would point the way to early constructive action. The Chairman, Mr L. V. Chilton, MA, F INST P, then introduced the morning ssion as follows:
