THE LIBRARY LIAISON OFFICER SYSTEM OF THE ROYAL AIRCRAFT ESTABLISHMENT
Abstract
In December, 1946, Mr. Brooks described to this Society the Library of the Meteorological Office; in the course of his paper he described his Information Service. During the discussion which followed questions were asked about the possibility of adapting such an information service, designed for a closely‐knit organization like the Meteorological Office, to a more complex organization like the National Physical Laboratory. One of us said, ‘I think I can give a partial answer to Dr. Walsh's question’, and then proceeded to give what may now be regarded as an abstract of the present paper.
