Cast Away on a Desert(ed) Island: Ten Reference Books

Abstract

I picture the island to be at latitude 20° south of the equator, and sufficiently large to have a three‐mile perimeter (for jogging) and an amount of high ground (for hill‐walking and look‐out posts). Vegetation would be plentiful, the climate equable, and coral reefs and lagoons available (for fishing and floating in).
