Abstract

Occupying some eleven inches on the already crowded reference shelves of most public and academic libraries is the venerable set of the Europa reference works. Few librarians need to be told that they consist of the basic two‐volume Europa Year Book: A World Survey, which includes information on the United Nations and international organizations and all the countries of the world; plus the more recently added titles Africa South of the Sahara (ASS), The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and The Far East and Australasia (FEA). In addition, another eight inches of shelf space holds the International Who's Who, The World of Learning, and Who's Who in Saudi Arabia.
