South‐West University Libraries Systems Cooperation Project

Abstract

An ICL System 4 computer network will shortly be in operation serving five university institutions in the south‐west, Bath University of Technology, the University of Bristol, the University of Exeter, the University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire and the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology. An ICL 4–75 will be installed in Bristol in September 1969 and will provide central on‐line linkage with the ICL 4–50s in Bath, Exeter and Cardiff.
