TY - JOUR AB - Development runs on a continuum, having traditional, transitional and desired (relative) development stages. Rather than moving on, the continent of Africa has remained perpetually transitional due to its inability to strategically position itself globally, and its attendant international maneuvers; as well as its inability to break away from the anti‐development traits of the traditional stage of development and launch into the future. This, has invariably resulted in a ‘Departure‐Arrival’ (from one stage of development to another) crises, and distractions, confusions, and uncertainties, which now pervade the development terrain of Africa.
