New on the net

Abstract

A Web of On‐line Dictionaries. Not just an online dictionary but a site that includes dictionaries in over 130 languages, from Afrikaans to Xhosa. Other sections are: Multilingual Dictionaries; Specialized Dictionaries; Thesauri and Other Vocabulary Aids; Language Identifiers and Guessers; and An Index of Dictionary Indices. Site is maintained by Robert Beard of the Linguistics Program, Bucknell University, PA, USA.
