Abstract

Estimates of the strength of the bond between the matrix resin and the fibre reinforcement in polymer‐matrix composites can now be made by a non‐destructive technique recently patented by Wen‐li Wu, a scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, Maryland.
