Abstract

The presentation examined forthcoming European regulations concerning atmospheric emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from the manufacturing industry, with emphasis on solvent emissions. The objectives of the presentation is to enable plant operators and company policy makers in the manufacturing industry to: ‐ understand the reasons why VOC emissions will be regulated; ‐ describe forthcoming European regulations; ‐ make an input to the development of the regulations.
