Additives: some new products

Abstract

It is well known that cobalt driers can cause discoloration in paint systems. Obviously, this is undesirable in clear varnishes, as well as in white or pastel shades. When using cobalt, a deterioration of as much as 4 or 5 Gardner units may be experienced. In order to minimise this effect, G. M. Langer & Co. have introduced Lanco Rex 84.
