AB  - Of the many different types of polymer latex which are now used for pigment coating, those which find the widest application are of the carboxylated styrene/butadiene (SBR) type. Other latex types which are used, often for speciality papers and boards, include polymers of acrylic esters, or butadiene and acrylic esters.
