Abstract

This article summarises recent developments and trends in Web Standards and techniques. It is based on a technical workshop given by the World Wide Web Consortium (known as W3C [http://www.w3.org]), the organisation responsible for Web standards, given on 17th July 1998 at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
