AB  - The LA Council met on 11 June 1985 still at Islington Town Hall because of HQ repairs. In spite of the almighty fuss made a few years ago by the membership over the method of election of Presidents, once again they failed to nominate. Mr Alex Wilson's name was then brought forward and he was nominated by Council to serve in 1986.
