Abstract

Helicopter orders worth more than £50 million for six RAF search and rescue (SAR) Sea Kings and £20 million for the upgrade of the Royal Navy's multi‐role Lynx have been won by Westland Helicopters, a subsidiary of Westland Group plc. The orders were announced recently in the House of Commons by the Minister of State for Defence Procurement, The Hon Alan Clark, MP.
