AB  - Flight trials began this month on the Ferranti FIN3000 “Laser Gyro” Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (INS). Initial trials of the prototype system, designed and developed by the Edinburgh‐based Navigation Systems Department, are being carried out in the Company's HS125 aircraft.
