AB  - THE Poeton Plating Group was founded in 1898 by Mr A. T. Poeton, grandfather of the present Chairman and Managing Director—Mr W. G. Poeton. The founder had emigrated to the United States from Bristol ten years earlier, and it was there in North America that he learned the craft secrets of silver plating. Upon returning to England he founded the business in Tower Hill, Bristol, from whence the company continued to operate until last year.
