Ear‐to‐ground

Abstract

This follows the issue earlier this year of a British Certificate of Airworthiness, giving the HS.125 full approval in the transport category. The FAA Certification is particularly important since the North American market is an extremely promising one for the HS.125. Already, sales of eight aircraft to North American customers have been announced (see ‘Orders and Contracts’, p. 334), and many more are in the offing. First deliveries to Hawker Siddeley's distributors in America have already commenced and the sales campaign will now be ‘hotted‐up’ following the award of the FAA Certificate.
