The Present Position of Titanium in the U.S.A.: Summary of a Lecture to the San Diego Chapter of the American Society for Metals, October 20, 1955

Abstract

THE need for a high temperature material for the construction of supersonic aircraft has caused manufacturers to investigate the properties and behaviour of titanium. Convair of San Diego has carried out tests on titanium and compared the results with those obtained from other materials.
