TY - JOUR AB - AN all‐magnesium aircraft has been built in the United States by East Coast Aeronautics Inc. under contract to the Air Force Air Development Center. It is the latest in a series of projects connected with the use of magnesium for aircraft primary structures. J. P. Donald Garges, vice‐president of the company, gave a detailed account of these projects in a paper presented to the Institute of Aeronautical Sciences at its annual meeting in January 1955, and published in Aeronautical Engineering Review in August 1955.
