Abstract
THE rapidly increasing electric power requirements of aircraft, together with their more arduous operating conditions, have accelerated the trend towards the adoption of 400 c.p.s. a.c. supplies as standard for general services. The point is being reached where a.c. distribution and control systems based on ground power station practice are becoming applicable to aircraft.
