The New Saab Wind‐Tunnel: A Swedish Industrial Tunnel Using the Power of Four Jet Engines as Ejectors

Abstract

THE need for an ‘industrial’ wind‐tunnel at Saab for tests in conjunction with test flying and project work has been felt for a long time and at the beginning of 1950 this need became acute. It then became necessary to project a serviceable transonic industrial wind‐tunnel which could be built in the shortest possible time and at reasonable cost.
