AB  - When the Euco Ground Thread Micrometer Spacing Collars were introduced a few years ago, the only sizes produced were for 1 in. and 1¼ in. arbors and the minimum width 13/16 in, A few months later, the company extended the range to cover 1½ in. dia. arbors and introduced a narrow type micrometer spacer having a minimum width of ¼ in., also available for arbors up to 1½ in. dia. Continental inquiries resulted in the range being extended to cover 16 mm., 22 mm., 27 mm., 32 mm., 40 mm., 55 mm. and 60 mm. with metric calibrations 001 mm. As many foreign industrial concerns were using British and American machines, a further demand developed for the English sizes with metric readings, so the range was again extended.
