Abstract
SOME time before the war was over an opportunity was given me to join the Airspeed design stall, who were then in the early stages of producing the prototype Ambassador. I welcomed this chance of taking a hand in the development of a modern civil transport and I was glad to be able to put behind me the various limitations in military design.
