AB  - The Council of the Helicopter Association of Great Britain Ltd. announce that the prize for the 1947–48 competition for an essay on ‘The Safety of Rotary Wing Aircraft’ has been awarded to D. R. Garraway, B.Sc.(Eng.), for his essay entitled ‘The Structural Airworthiness of Helicopters with particular reference to Fatigue Failure’, which is reproduced in the current number of the Society's journal.
