Abstract

A QUESTION that is very much sur le tapis at the moment, and seems likely to remain so for some time to come, is what the regulations governing the making and recognition of aeroplane speed records should be. On various grounds, particularly connected with the very high speeds becoming practicable, the regulations must obviously be reconsidered and redrafted—as indeed they are to be at a meeting of the FEDERATION AERONAUTIQUE INTERNATIONALE to be held this autumn.
