Statistical Control in the Inspection of Materials

Abstract

IT is obvious that a well organised Inspection Department must have as part of its equipment a sound system of records. These records become a statistical control providing the essential information relative to the material under inspection, and are as important a part of inspection as the mechanical, visual and chemical tests.
