RECONSTRUCTION AND THE INDUSTRY

Abstract

WE have‘ thought it worth while to reproduce here in extended, though still considerably abridged, form a pamphlet on the siting’ and lay‐out of aerodromes recently brought out by the Director of Civil Aviation; because, being provisional, it is not printed but reproduced in facsimile type and is not yet being widely circulated. It should, therefore, presumably be taken as a purely tentative indication of how this Department's mind is working and not as laying down any hard and fast rules, so that criticism and suggestion will no doubt be welcome.
