Abstract

REVIEWED BY C. WHITTINGHAM To write a book dealing adequately with the whole subject of vibration, demands either a volume of tremendous proportion or great discernment in the subject matter. Den Hartog's second edition shows a good deal of the latter, while 448 pages cannot be called a book of exceptional size.
