AB  - High‐pressure steel‐cored hose for hydraulic, oil and petrol systems on aeroplanes has recently become available in this country from a number of different firms. By “high‐pressure” hose is meant flexible piping capable of withstanding proof pressures of 10,000–20,000 lb./sq. in., as compared with cotton‐braided hose suitable for proof pressures of 3,000–4,000 lb./sq. in.
